This book features a very strong FMC (female main character) and I absolutely love that. She is the head enforcer for a cartel gang. She gets kidnapped by four super hot bikers from an MC (motor cycle club) and then her childhood best friend gets added into the mix. All for us to find out that she’s been the crime lord all along. Finished and loved it. I’m working on book two now. This one might be one I add to the shelves. As in my personal collection of physical books. Lots of steam. Which is always a plus in my book.

 If you are new to this series and are not familiar with C. M. Stunich and their work, let me just recommend heading to kindle unlimited and reading the first installment in this series (The Witchwood boys are trending). This series is full of blood, sex, witchy vibes, sacrifice in both ritual and in emotional. I started reading this right around Halloween and I must say, It was the PERFECT vibe. Now I’m just hooked. 

The story follows Kate, a normal woman just looking for adventure, testing the limits of an urban myth and legend. Unbeknownst to her, she was a little too smart, and dumb for her own good. She ends up getting chased down by three toxic and utterly attractive men. Shackled to their shadows for all eternity. But also being chased by an immortal forest god with a hankering for human flesh and soul. Such fun. This book…wow. The third installment is (in my opinion) by far the best so far. I was blown away. ********

******* THAT ENDING THOUGH! C. M. Stunich knew what she was doing when she decided to put all of her faithful and loyal readers through the wringer. Emotionally, I am wrecked. Physically, I was sobbing. I feel so betrayed and I just have to announce. KATE DID NOT DESERVE THAT SHIT!
